Nyah nyah, I'm talking about Fight Club!
Sep. 25th, 2004 02:54 amIt was totally worth it to stay up until 2:30 AM and then some to see Fight Club. I'd expected it to be good, but I didn't expect it to be a total mindfuck (in my lexicon, "mindfuck" is a positive superlative sorta thingie). Except now I won't be able to sleep because the movie had me all hyped up. What the hell, once I get in bed I'll probably be out in five minutes. That's how I am.
I'm debating whether or not to put the Fight Club DVD on my Amazon wish list.
By the way, I know what I want to do before I die. I've got several things, but at the top of my list are writing a book and visiting Japan.
I haven't eaten since sunset (unusual for me) and I'm not going to eat tomorrow because it's Yom Kippur. No, I'm not going to services, but I'm fasting. Not sure why. Probably because it's a very grown-up thing to do. And also because I'm going to a break-the-fast with a friend of Dad's who lives around here, and he and his wife and the other guests won't have eaten all day, so it's sort of a courtesy thing. And if I do this, it means I can get back on my diet. I don't want Mom to bother me next time I go home.
Anyway, off to bed now.
