More home stuff

Last night Benjamin told me not to wake him up in the morning unless he requested it. But this morning he came and knocked on my door, while I was still asleep, because he wanted to know if I'd go to see the play he's in (he does a lot of dancing, singing and theater stuff - sometimes I call him the Drama Queen). I was pretty pissed so when he asked me I croaked "I want to sleep" and slammed the door on him. But that's sort of our usual relationship, so I don't think he'll mind too much.
I got a Tiffany necklace from my Aunt Liz today (Dad's sister) and checks from my great-aunt Norma and Granny and Grumpy. I'm quite happy because I can buy new PS2-to-PC adaptors for my dance pads (though playing StepMania on the carpeted floor of my bedroom is hard) and I can even get the whole Babylon 5 DVD set. Of course I'll have to write thank-you e-mails to everyone.
Valerie called earlier - she wants us to get together some time this week, and she's going to show me her Evil Dead videos. She's been talking to me about those movies a lot and, as usual, she's going to make me see them no matter how much I protest (though I can't usually). Maybe then I can force her to read my Ruse comics...mwahaha.
About the Pharoh game Benjamin got - I spent a lot of time last night trying to edit a nice map to play on. It's harder than I thought it would be, but I'm getting the hang of it. I should be able to make a good one soon. First, though, I have other stuff to do. I have some e-mails to send, I need to call Dinsey back (I tried last night, but something was wrong with her phone), and maybe I should start putting Dad's old New York Times newspapers into bags. He keeps them in the mudroom, and said not to ditch them until he'd clipped out his articles, but he hasn't done it and Mom thinks the pile is getting way too big. If he gets mad at me, I'll tell him he should have clipped the articles earlier, and that Mom told me to throw the papers out. I am not accountable. :)
