An update on my status

My computer is working again, but I still don't have Internet. For some reason I can't connect to our network, although I put in the key and everything. Bleah.

On the bright side, I did a good thing today. Those of you who are on the Overheard in New York feed may know of a certain troll (hobo_dick) who was posting "lol foreigners are funny" on every thread, regardless of the subject. This person created other accounts (antique_vase, lol_4nersrfunny, graffitti_sucks, spell_check) and started doing other annoying things, then started abusing others who posted there. I reported him to the LJ Abuse Team and he has now been permanently suspended. Woot!

BTW... as far as that psicorp pin... I'm having a hard time finding it amongst all of my crap. I'm still working on it tho, but you may want to have a plan B just to be safe.

I'll be at a wedding this weekend with a ton of geeky friends... two of whom had a Babylon 5 themed wedding a few years ago. I'll check if they have one you can use.

The Groom was in an "Army of Light" uniform (Captain, of course), the Bride was Mimbari, and the wedding party were Centari.

PS... the bride and groom's real names are "Tony and Tina"... Yep, it was Tony & Tina's Wedding!

And Tony is the chairman of Philcon this year.

I had a bunch of people spam my livejournal with pointless (and eventually anti-semetic) remarks. I reported them to lj and, I kid you not, they told me that it didn't constitute a breech of the TOS because they didn't threaten me or list my address or phone number publically. Wtf? Eventually they were banned but only after other people complained after it happened to them. I'm glad that the abuse team worked for you!
