Roo seems to be getting the hang of the whole litterbox concept. I just got it yesterday and she's used it a few times already - although she did go on the floor next to the litterbox once. Close but no cigar, Roo.

She's also drinking out of a bowl now instead of a bottle. The problem with that is, she gets kitten formula on herself, and then it dries and gets crusty and it's impossible to get out of her fur. Working at it with a cat brush would do, but Roo doesn't like that and squirms a lot. I've tried wiping her with a wet paper towel and that doesn't seem to work either - she puts up with it, but it doesn't get the gunk out. Any suggestions for what to do?

Wet dishtowl. It's more sturdy than a paper towel. Roo will just have to deal with the wet.

Well, I used the white dishtowel to wash her off. She was surprisingly un-squirmy during the process, and I think I got most of the crusted milk off.

Dad was right, this is like having a newborn baby in the house.
