My Very First Post!

Okay, I finally gave in and got my own LiveJournal account. It seems to be a common geek accessory, and since I am a reading/writing geek I suppose I really ought to have one. I've also been lurking on mock_the_stupid quite a lot, and I want to be able to join and post. Also, I'd kind of like to keep a journal, but I hate writing by hand. I've got some friends who can help me get nice icons and whatnot, so hopefully I can spruce this site up a bit.

Anyway...where should I start, with my first entry? Well, maybe I should start with today. I spent the night at scifantasy's dorm, and helped him pack today because he's going home from college. I'm not going home until after graduation here at Bryn Mawr on May 16th, because a lot of my friends are graduating (wah!) and I want to be there for it. That, and my 21st birthday is on the 14th - for the past two years I've been home for that, but I want to have the party with some friends in Philly.

Okay. Now back on the subject of what I did today. When I returned to my dorm room I checked on my e-mail, read mock_the_stupid (which is insanely addictive to me, for some reason), started a LiveJournal account, and got a client for it. Hopefully I'll learn to use the damn thing competently sooner or later.

Now, for those who are interested, I have of late been working on a Ruse fanfic called The Ruse Revealed. I will probably be yammering about it a lot here, and I will let my readers know (if anyone cares enough to come here) when I finally post it, because I'm trying to complete it before putting it up. I guess that's about it for now...I'm going to try and customize this puppy. My LiveJournal, that is. BCNU!
