Day of the Klutz

It must be a sort of vaccation hangover.  Today I made the foolish choice of wearing my slip-on sneaker shoes without socks, and now I have little blisters on my feet.  I got my absentee voting ballot in the mail, and it had ovals I was supposed to fill in with a Number 2 pencil, and I filled them in with a pen instead.  I've got time to get a new one, so I will.  I also broke the chain of my Evenstar pendant and the little loop thing from which the actual pendant hangs.  Fortunately the pendant itself is all right.  I'm going to take it to a jeweller tomorrow.

At least I got a lot of reading done today, and I found out that I got a good grade on my Chinese Civ midterm.  The one essay we have for that class is only 5 pages and due in about three weeks, which is a relief, considering all the other stuff I have to do.

I finished Kushiel's Dart.  I wonder if there's a "Which Night Court House Do You Belong To?" quiz somewhere.  If I can find one I'll post my results for all the world to see.
