For tonight's Doublestar Sci-Fi Club we watched Contact. I've hit upon a major revelation here: the premise of Contact is not "there is life out there," but "people are stupid." Which they are.

I was fortunate enough to be present for an amusing quote from my friend Elizabeth - "I'm donating my body to science fiction."
