So much to choose from!
Jul. 21st, 2006 03:29 pmSince I used PayPal to buy tickets to a gaming convention for myself and my little brother Benjamin, Dad said I could use his credit card (or, rather, the credit card I have that's on his account) to make purchases of equal value. Since I've been good with my finances for the past month, I can afford to spend this money on something fun.
So the question is...yarn or a computer game?
I don't really have a knitting project in mind for after I finish my socks, although I think I might want to do a lacy (although not necessarily "lace") black shawl to go with my Renaissance Fair costume. This would be a good time to start it if I want to have it done by September, which is the height of the RenFaire season.
For a computer game...well, new ones usually cost fifty or sixty dollars, and I can only spend 45 dollars because that's how much I paid for the tickets - although I can get a recent-but-not-new game at Target or something for that much money. However, I don't know of any games that I really want to get. Maybe Fable? I love RPGs, I've heard good things about it and it's been out long enough that the price has probably gone down.
I'm looking for input here - so should it be yarn or a computer game? Hmmm...
