Another Day of the Klutz
Oct. 20th, 2004 08:27 pmI dropped my watch and the back popped off and now I can't get it back on, so I can't wear the watch. What's wrong with me this week?!
Well, I managed to do something competent today too. I finished my oral history essay - the one I interviewed my grandfather for over fall break. It didn't take as long as I thought, though I think I might have to change something because there was a discrepancy between something he told me and one of the other sources I read. I left a message for him to call me back.
Tomorrow I need to go to the Career Office and find out about the Philadelphia Recruiting Day and the winter break externship program. Some other things I have to do in the near future include finding some articles on JStor and other scholarly databases that pertain to my thesis and trimming down my long list of possible books to the most useful ones so I can read them and write a literature review. I also need to call the places I want to do reasearch in, and talk to
ironroot about getting in touch with his sister, who can help me with this project.
The fact that I'm not having long-term, low-grade anxiety attacks over all this work still surprises me. I keep waiting for them to start. Not that I really want one, but since they decrease my appetite having one would at least help me lose weight...:P
