Try to out-geek THIS!
Sep. 20th, 2004 07:25 pmToday, for some reason, I found myself getting nostalgic for some of my old computer games, particularly Sim Farm (from the makers of Sim City, and now, The Sims). I know about abandonware, so I downloaded Sim Farm along with another favorite, EcoQuest (an educational game by Sierra). With VDMSound I got EcoQuest to work. Well, mostly. It seems to get stuck on one part.
Anyway, EcoQuest is about 11 years old. I think Sim Farm may be a couple years younger, but the're REALLY dated. I've played through most of EcoQuest and noticed a lot of jokes and references I didn't catch on to when I was ten.
I wonder what abandonware I should look for next. These old games are fnu.
