[livejournal.com profile] plus_c has already written a good account of most of the stuff he, [livejournal.com profile] scifantasy and I did this weekend, and I don't have the energy to do it, so if you're interested just read what he had to say. He wasn't there on July 5th, though, when [livejournal.com profile] scifantasy and I had lunch with [livejournal.com profile] drakonous and [livejournal.com profile] tempus_aeterna, so I have to point that out, which I did. Heh. Oh, and Benjamin got Heroes of Might and Magic III, with Armageddon's Blade too, which means I have yet another way to waste time. scifantasy whomped both Benjamin and myself on a 3-player game while he was here. I'm not good at fighting real opponents in these games, okay?

I still have my cold. It's mostly cleared up, though I still have some coughing and stuffiness. I'll be able to exercise today, since I can actually breathe. Let's just hope I don't get another nosebleed - mucous membrane ruptures are the stuff of nightmares, believe me. My larynx is still inflamed so I'm hoarse. At least I don't have sensory nerves in my larynx (neither does anyone else, for that matter), so I can't feel whatever it is that's doing a number on my voicebox.

On the CrossGen Ruse board today Oxhine said it would be a good idea to buy issues 13-26 in singles instead of waiting for the TPBs to come out because the company might go belly-up soon. The problem is that you can't order issues 16-22 or so online, and I'm not at Bryn Mawr where they have them at the comic shop. I know there's a place in Bethesda, and there must be one in DC, so if I'm desperate I can go there.

Today at noon we Decatur House interns are having a brainstorming meeting over pizza. I've gotten a lot of stuff done so far but I still need to find artifacts for Judah P. Benjamin.

A parting note - they sell Leninade at the Spy Museum Cafe. I told my friend Valerie about it in the hopes that she might order some for the KGB's next party at Carnegie Mellon University. (Nobody is sure what "KGB" stands for anymore, but the most popular theory is that it means "Keeping Geeks Busy".)
