Just an update

For the record, it's going to take the local Honda body shop three weeks to fix the van. Luckily Daniel and Martina aren't here, so we don't need three cars. I took the bus home yesterday and had to walk with all my heavy bags, which is about what I deserve. I think I'm going to keep taking the bus for a while. Mom says I should talk to my psychiatrist about taking some small dose of ADD medication in the late afternoon (I already take a big one in the morning, but I think maybe it wears off by then) in order to help prevent this sort of thing happening again.

Now, here's something puzzling: Mom and Dad didn't freak out over the car accident itself, but they were unhappy when I spoke to the insurance agent over the phone and sort of admitted that it was my fault. Mom also lectured me because I gained weight since last week and she yelled at me for turning down the thermostat a few degrees and making the house too cold. Is anyone else confused here?

Although I don't think that's something to freak out over, admission of fault before the accident report comes out is a big no-no. I admitted it to the agent after my accident, but there was no way that anyone could construe that scenario as anyone's fault but my own. The other stuff...yeah, that's really stupid.

Hope things go better for you, I know all too well how much it sucks to be in an accident.
