Tomato Status Update

Tomato has been partitioned and I'm currently installing Windows XP in the properly formatted part of the disk. I went around displaying Tomato with the WinXP install screen to various people in the office. My supervisor and one of my co-workers are dedicated Mac users: my co-worker feigned horror and made a cross sign at the computer, while my supervisor asked if I was "ruining the nice Mac."
For the time being, I can't run Windows in the MacOS, since I don't have Parallels. I'm going to wait until Parallels allows DirectX capability before I buy it. Until then I'll just be using Boot Camp.
I still need to put the stuff from my old laptop on Tomato (horrors, I'm already in the habit of calling it by a pet name). Fortunately I have a hard drive enclosure for laptop disks. Once I'm out of work, it shouldn't take more than a couple of hours for me to get everything the way I like it.
