Apple Quest!

I was originally planning to schlep out to the King of Prussia mall in order to visit an Apple store and get myself a shiny new MacBook Pro. Fortunately, I've figured out that I don't need to go that far: there's actually a store in Suburban Square, Ardmore, just a short walk from the train station. Joy! Getting there and back is practically foolproof, assuming I don't get to thinking I'm headed to Bryn Mawr (two stops down the line).
I plan to bring my Windows XP disks so I can see if it's possible to install Windows on the new Mac from them, or if I have to buy a new Windows thingy altogether. Then I have to start transferring stuff from my old laptop to the new one. I was planning on using my laptop-sized hard drive enclosure, but our tech guy at work says that it would be easier to enable file sharing between computers on my wireless network. Then I have to clean up the old laptop and put AVG on it (since Norton is almost run out) so my mother can use it.
So much to do, I'm so excited...
