A little about my day

miss_ytI went to Mishkan Shalom this morning. Took the R100 (cheaper than the R5, but a longer walk to get to), then the subway, then a bus. I found out later that I would have done better to take a different bus from the 69th street station. The directions I had recieved were in error.
I got good notes from watching the service, though I didn't get to talk to the rabbi. Some people were nice enough to drive me back, for which I am very grateful.
Mostly I wasted time today. I have to finish my assigned readings in Montaigne's Essays, and I hope to get more of my short story done.
The more I read of Montaigne, the more I like him. He was a very smart man. I think I've developed something of a crush on him, which is a bit of a problem...
