I won't ask if it makes me look fat.

I'm going to a Flogging Molly concert with arcessita, ironroot and one or two of their other friends. From what I know of the band, it would probably be appropriate to dress in a sort of Goth or punky style. I don't really have any outfits like that, but I think I managed to improvise one.

I have a fitted, textured, scoop-necked black blouse that I got in California. I also have a simple calf-length skirt that I actually got when arcessita was giving away old clothes. I've also got a pair of round-toed lace-up boots. But the finishing touch is a pair of long yellow-and-black striped stockings that are visible between the tops of the boots and the hem of the skirt. It saves the outfit from looking drab or even positively funereal. In fact, I think it looks kind of cute.
