Another Roo Report
Sep. 13th, 2005 08:29 pmI got Roo a food dish, a litterbox (with litter, of course), a brush, a catnip scratching post and a collar. The collar is too big for her, but she should grow into it soon. She seems more interested in chewing on the scratching post than, well, scratching it. As yet she has expressed no interest in the litterbox, but I hope that will change soon. She's got to stop widdling on the couch. Fortunately, she likes the food dish, and is lapping up her formula out of it - which means I don't have to feed her from a bottle now. In a week or two I'll try to get her on solid food. I'll also have to get flea-killing stuff for her and for the apartment. Since I didn't have room for it, I didn't actually get her a carrier bag this time. I also ordered a pet tag for her, which should be here within the week.
In other news, I finished the XML project at work today (or at least the really major part of it), and I'm now working on a much lighter project: typesetting a Penguin edition of "The Tempest." I'll probably have to get back to the XML project to put on final touches and validate it with the client's program. I validated it with another program because the one they gave us was not at all helpful.
