Quick Update
Jul. 14th, 2005 12:58 pmOkay. I'm caught up on all my webcomics except for Schlock Mercenary. But that's not really what I wanted to talk about.
I'm planning to find a Reconstructionist synagogue around here, partly at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
colorwhirl's urging. But I also think that, now that I've graduated and have a job, I need to figure out what I'm going to do next. And a Reconstructionist congregation is a pretty good place to start out, right? Maybe I'll meet other people my age. Maybe I'll find a volunteer organization I like. Maybe I'll even find God.[1]
My more mundane short-term goal is to find a new bike on Craigslist or something. And a Kryptonite lock for it, although I plan to be smart this time and keep it in the basement. I also have to get around to telling my parents about the bike, because waiting until next time they visit really isn't acceptable.
Well, there are worse confessions to have to make to your parents. And I have made at least one of them - getting into an accident with the family minivan. Also, this time I will be paying for the mistake - financially - on my own.
I am also a bit worried aboutdrakonous and the rest of the crew, since I haven't been keeping up with them as much as I should since the summer began, and I don't know what all is going on with them. A little update would be nice, hint hint. ;)
