scifantasy already mentioned that we went to see Sin City yesterday - which I enjoyed - so I'm not going to talk about that. What he didn't mention was that it was raining hard and I didn't have an umbrella or jacket. He lent me his for part of the way, although when I had to go back to 30th street on my own I got soaked. Next time I shall bring my nice big umbrella.
In other news, I expect to recieve a pair of earrings soon. I've been on the Bryn Mawr alumni listserv (as a second semester senior, I'm eligible for it), and someone posted that they were trying to get rid of two pairs of frivolous earrings - one that looked like Scottie dogs and one with grey feathers. The feathers one was too heavy for her earlobes and she said her neck was too short to wear them well. I said I'd take them off her hands, and gave her my address. So soon I will get free earrings. Yay!
