I have returned!
Jan. 16th, 2005 09:56 pmI'm back at college, ready as I can be to get back to work. The trip was pretty good except that my foaming wash stuff leaked in my bag. At least it smells nice, and I wasn't carrying clothes in that particular bag, so it didn't get on anything really bad.
I plan to call my friend Paige, whom I haven't spoken to in a while. Then I'm going to shower and read my book before bed, which will be at midnight, not at some insanely late hour as it has been recently. I need to get back on a proper sleep schedule.
On an unrelated note, I read a particularly good book over break, called The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. It's about a teenage boy who investigates the death of his neighbor's dog. The story would be prosaic, except that the boy is autistic, so seeing the world through his eyes is almost like encountering an alien mind. It's very engrossing, and I commend the author for undertaking and succeeding in such a challenging endeavor.
I'll let all my devoted readers know how my first day of school goes in this new semester...
