I actually got some work done!

I finally managed to reach someone at Gamble Plantation, but they apparently don't have that many Judah P. Benjamin artifacts. They'll send me a list of what they've got, though, so at least I've made some progress. My boss and I spent the afternoon revising the things I wrote for the parts of our museum exhibit that I'm working on. That "150 words or less" rule is a bitch. Why is it that most Americans don't have the patience to read anything, or at least that so many people in the establishment think they don't?

I'm going to Screen on the Green this evening and hoping that plus_c will join me, but I haven't heard from him so I don't know if he'll be coming along. Screen on the Green is a series of summer movies on the Washington Mall, by the way. Right now I'm at Dad's office. I got some of my fanfic done in the morning, so I think I'll play some Deus Ex.
