Oh, wow, I love it! Great storytelling; I love how the beauty and splendor of Christmas abruptly turns fake and shallow. Your voice in this is great as well -- it's very much an adult remembering what it's like to view things from the eyes of a five-year-old. Wonderful descriptive writing. :)
