miss_ytI bought a coconut during my weekly grocery-shopping trip. I'm looking forward to eating it. The problem is, of course, getting it open. I have to try and get the milk out - maybe using a hammer and a screwdriver (as a chisel) will work? And to actually crack the thing, I may have to smash it on the front steps or something.
In other news, I'm supposed to go out with a partner this evening to remind my neighbors to vote in the upcoming Congressional elections (specifically, to not vote for Santorum). But it's dangerously hot outside, and if the last few days are any indication, it won't cool down much after nightfall. We may have to postpone, or risk heat exhaustion.
