I recently bought Final Fantasy Chronicles on Amazon, and it finally arrived yesterday. For those of you who don't know, Final Fantasy Chronicles includes two games, Final Fantasy IV and Chrono Trigger, ported from their native SNES to the Playstation with new cutscenes and such. Now, Final Fantasy I can pretty much take or leave, but I really wanted Chrono Trigger.
Alas, I discovered, it could not save data on a PS2 memory card. I was pretty upset about this. Fortunately![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
shinyhappygoth told me that I just needed to get a PS1 card, which I got at EB today. Crisis averted.
Oh, they were also taking preorders for God of War II, which comes out next month. I put one in and got a demo disc that I intend to try out later. According to the IGN review, GoW II will not disappoint: it's not a huge improvement on the original, but it would be hard to make something that good again, let alone better. I can't wait.
