I found the first Dresden book to be profoundly mediocre, but they get much better starting with the second one. So, since you liked the first one, I'm sure you'll like the rest!

Also, if you like the Dresden books, I urge you to check out Mike Carey's Felix Castor novels. They're in the same vein as the Dresden series, but are IMO better-written.
