Okay, then!
I was planning to stay an extra hour at work today, tomorrow and on Thursday (can't on Wednesday) so I could leave early Friday for Philcon. But since the con doesn't seem to really get going until 6 or so, I don't have to. In fact, the first panel I'm interested in is at 8. I definitely want to go to PhilProm, though.
It's funny - my visit to Philcon was fiction-and-publishing themed, because I was interested in getting some of my stuff published. I still am, although that probably won't happen for a while. But this year my Philcon routine will have more to do with my future studies in information science. Here's an indicator: the first panel I'm interested in attending is about internet security. I plan to take notes. And knitting.
Hey, if I don't need to leave early on Friday, I can blow this popsicle stand right now. I think I'll go do that.
