Are we talking undergraduate or graduate degree fields here?

If you mean graduate, or both kinds of degree, I've been thinking about that. Remember that I got my undergrad degree in anthropology, and I am not continuing my studies in the same field. However, the way I learned to work and think for my studies can be applied for many other things, including ways of organizing information. I think information science is a bit like that - the skills and mindset you accquire can have specific or wide-ranging applications.
