Potentially Useful Information

Apparently, you can make your own electrolyte-replenishing drink at home. Just mix one liter of water with a teaspoon of salt and eight teaspoons of sugar. This will treat dehydration more effectively than water alone (although you should also drink lots of water). I thought this would be useful for people to know, with the heat wave and all.

I've been feeling fatigued for the past several days, which is apparently a symptom of dehydration. Drinking a lot of water doesn't seem to be helping, so I'm going to mix up some of this stuff when I get home. Or maybe I should just pop across the street to the Wawa and spring for a bottle of Gatorade or the like.

I've been known to put in a splash of lemon juice. Of course, I've also been known to just put in salt and sugar in whatever quantities ebcause, while I knew one could do this in theory, I didn't know the amounts until just now. . .

It tastes kinda gross, but bearable, and it seems to be working.
